Have you ever realized
That you spend most of your life waiting?
Waiting for that first kiss,
That first love, that last love.
In-between the waiting is the doing,
And the did.
But neither outlasts the waiting.
Countless hours are spent
Waiting from one moment to the next.
They say good things come
To those who wait
But all people wait,
So how many good things are left?
If I had my way,
I wouldn’t wait.
Every moment a moment in the doing.
Because after the did,
And without the doing,
We are all waiting to die.
